SOUTH DAKOTA: BLACK HILLS FILM FESTIVAL - MAY 1st-6th, 2012. In its 3rd year and expanding like wildfire! The Black Hills Film Festival offers cash prizes along with bronze sculptured trophies to winning films in addition to filmmaking workshops which in past years have been hosted by Executives from Warner Bros Studios, Sean Covel (Producer of Napoleon Dynamite), Alexa Vega (Star of Spy Kids & Repo; The Genetic Opera) and graduates and professors from AFI and the USC School of Cinematic Arts. New this year; a guided tour for all accepted filmmakers of the national monuments and many shooting locations the Black Hills of South Dakota has to offer! ! Now seeking entries in all categories.
